- Health and Hydration Data: In Water Tracker, we collect hydration data (water and beverage intake) and store it locally on your device by default. You may choose to sync this data with Google Health Connect or Apple HealthKit at your full control.
- Usage Data: We may collect information about how you access and use the App ("Usage Data") to improve App performance and resolve technical issues.
2. Health Data Policy
Regarding Water Tracker which handles health-related data (water and hydration tracking):
- Local Storage: All hydration data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to sync with health services.
- Optional Sync: You can enable or disable synchronization with Google Health Connect or Apple HealthKit at any time from the app settings.
- No Sale: We do not sell your health data to any third party under any circumstances.
- Limited Access: Even when syncing, we do not access your other health data (such as steps, heart rate, etc.).
- Data Deletion: You can delete all your health data from within the app or by contacting us.
This app is not a medical diagnostic tool and does not provide medical advice. It is used solely for hydration tracking.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
Our Apps may use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We use these services for analytics purposes and to serve personalized advertisements (e.g., Google AdMob).

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Apps, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
6. Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

- You have the right to request a copy of your data, or request its modification or complete deletion.

- If an App relies on cloud registration, you can always choose "Delete Account and Data" from within the app settings.

- Local Database (Drift/SQLite): App data such as hydration records, QR scan history, and user preferences are stored locally using SQLite databases.
- Secure Storage: Sensitive information like authentication tokens are stored securely using platform-specific secure storage mechanisms (flutter_secure_storage).
- Shared Preferences: Basic app settings and preferences are stored using SharedPreferences (Android) and UserDefaults (iOS).
- File Storage: Some apps may save files to your device's storage using path_provider for features like data export.
- Device Sensors: Some apps may access device sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope) through sensors_plus for features like shake detection. This sensor data is processed locally and never leaves your device.
You can clear all local data by uninstalling the app or using the "Clear Data" option in your device settings. Local data is never backed up to our servers.
9. Notifications and Background Services
Some of our apps use notifications and background services to provide timely reminders:
- Local Notifications: We use flutter_local_notifications to send you hydration reminders and other app alerts. These notifications are scheduled and delivered locally on your device without requiring server communication.
- Background Tasks: We use workmanager to handle periodic data sync and maintenance operations. These tasks run locally on your device.
- Home Screen Widgets: Some apps support home screen widgets (via home_widget) that display data from local storage. Widgets update based on local app state.
- Quick Actions: Some apps support app icon quick actions for faster access to common features.
- Time Zone Handling: For accurate notification timing, we use flutter_timezone to detect your local time zone and schedule reminders correctly.
You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app preferences.
10. Device Permissions
Our apps may request the following permissions to provide full functionality (managed via permission_handler):
- Camera: Required for QR code and barcode scanning functionality.
- Health Data: Optional permission to sync hydration data with Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect (via the health plugin).
- Notifications: Optional permission to send hydration reminders and app alerts.
- Storage: Optional permission for exporting or importing app data.
- Internet: Required for analytics, advertising, authentication, and app store services.
- Sensors: Optional access to device motion sensors for shake detection features.
All permissions are optional except where essential for core functionality. You can manage permissions through your device settings at any time.
